I currently attend Grand Valley State University. I have made so many friends and memories in just my first year, it truly is a blessing to attend this university! From watching football games with friends, to walking past the clock tower on my way to class, to exploring the many events held in the Kirkhof center, there is never a boring day at GVSU! Go Lakers!

Before my first year began, I received the honor of being accepted into the College of Business as a freshman! It is something I am very proud of. In addition to my Freshman Admission, I also maintained a 3.7 G.P.A, and made the Dean's list for both semesters during my freshman year. It was difficult, but I worked even harder to achieve academic success.

I was a part of various clubs and organizations during my freshman year. I was accepted into the Seidman College of Business Student Leadership Development program, which is a professional development program designed to connect business students with mentors from the local business community. I was also a member of the American Marketing Association, which was a great organization that helped expand my knowledge of Marketing in the business world. I was also a Residence Hall Association Representative and homecoming captain for Community Council, which helped me become more involved in the community at Grand Valley. I was also on two Intramural (I.M.) Soccer teams and an I.M. Softball team at GVSU.

Before I attended Grand Valley, I went to Canton High School. In my four short years there, I made lots of memories and learned skills that I will never forget. Attending the Plymouth Canton Educational Park is hard for a teenager in high school, but I had an amazing journey and changed so much that I am grateful for it all. We arrived as freshman, and we left as leaders! I will always be a Canton Chief!

I was also a member of several organizations at Canton High School. I was a member of the National Honor Society (NHS) my Junior and Senior year. That helped me get involved in the community of Canton through volunteer work. I was also a member of Student Council, where we helped raise money for several charities and organized our school Prom. Lastly, I was an active member of the Canton Link Crew, which was a Freshman Orientation Program that helped 8th graders transition into High School.
