Soccer
I have been playing soccer since I was 5 years old.  I started out playing recreactional soccer and then made my local travel team, of which I stayed on for the next 6 years.  I was on my high school soccer team for 3 years, making the varsity team my senior year.  I currently play for fun, as well as participating on several GVSU Intramural soccer teams.

Family Life
My family is very important to me.  Whether it involves seeing each other for special occasions like holidays and/or birthdays, or just visiting all of them when I come home from college for the weekend, I know it is going to be a fun time.  I have learned many valuable life experiences through growing up with two brothers, and I will continue to cherish the moments we share together as a family.

Piano
Learning to play the Piano was a very fun experience for me.  Apart from making me develop an interest in classical music, it also taught me the benefits that come from hours of hard work and practice.  I played classical piano for seven years, and I still occasionally play for personal enjoyment
.

Scouts
Although I was only in Boy Scouts for three years, I learned a great deal of things from my time in my scout troop, including working together as a team to accomplish tasks, survival skills in nature, as well as working independently to complete a project.  I participated in Cub Scouts from the ages of seven to twelve years old, and proceeding to join Troop 781 among the Boy Scouts of America.
